You can choose to find out and you can choose to walk away.

You can choose to find out and you can choose to walk away.

Basic Stuff

I, Malaya* am a seventeen-year-old freshman student of Sociology at the University of the Philippines in Los Baños, Laguna. I’m turning eighteen soon, but unlike most of the girls my age, I’m not that excited about my eighteenth birthday. I don’t know why. Heck, I must be abnormal. But I really don’t care.

I like to dream about good things, believe in happy endings, and survive challenges. But then, reality bites me (with three-inch fangs) and says, “WAKE UP!!!”

I like to write because it’s not supposed to have rules. I write because I can be me. I know, it’s selfish.

I can multitask. I can talk and study at the same time. I can walk to class and study at the same time. I can sleep and review my lesson at the same time. I can type and fabricate lies at the same time. Hahaha!

I don’t like being vulnerable in the eyes of others.

But, as Jay Cruz said, “It is in the state of vulnerability that one realizes his weaknesses and finds room for improvement.”

Hasta La Vista. :D
